This stunning fully nut & bolt restored genuine matching numbers 351 Cleveland engine Mach 1 was registered 1970. This motor is in beautiful condition. Black interior. Finished in classic Grabber Orange with Matt Black stripe.
351 V8 4v (4 barrel) with auto box. Craiger steel dished vintage wheels.
Built at the famous San Jose plant and remained in California until now.

1949 Douglas MK1V 350cc
This immaculate bike, in concourse condition has matching frame and engine numbers. Has had a full “nut & bolt” restoration and is now in the Douglas Motor Cycle Club machine register.
When manufactured 70 years ago the leading link front forks and swinging arm rear suspension were innovate along with an extremely high quality build, maybe even over engineered.
The horizontally opposed engine design was basically copied by BMW in the early 1930s and increased to 650cc for their iconic solo and sidecar machines which proved excellent during WW2.
A lovely easy bike to ride, reliable and perfect in every detail. We have yet to find another example in such good condition available for sale.

1969 Triumph Flat tracker
Built in the USA specifically for racing ½ mile dirt oval tracks in the 1970s.
When the bike arrived at the Speedshop in 2017 from the States it had been neglected and not started, let alone ridden for over 30 years.
With a totally rebuilt 500 cc single carburettor engine, gearbox, forks and wheels using and keeping all the original parts where possible she is back to her former glory.
Simple to ride and it’s been a real joy testing her on road and track over the Summer.

Our beloved ‘Crusty’ started life from California and has been in regular use here in the UK.

British Army Springer ATV
Designed as a light role load carry platform, Springer is based on the US made Tomcar and was issued to the British army in Afghanistan in 2009. Built for rugged and desert conditions it drives amazingly well on tarmac.
This vehicle has been recommissioned by us with a full engine and fuel service including, filters, new drive belt, gear box, CVT, starter motor, break calipers all round, steering and suspension joints, rear shock absorbers and an 8,000lb self recovery winch.
The rear platform tips and with duel coil over springs and an adjustable gas hydrolic shock absorber suspension system, which was designed to carry loads up to 1 ton, there are also 2 loading trays on the front and roof capable of carrying 100kg of equipment on each. The spring arm suspension gives it a 380mm ground clearance for the smooth armour plated under pan.
It is fitted with a 1.4 litre Lombardini diesel engine,with twin fuel tanks.
The transmission is continuously variable (CVT).
High and low gear train with the option of diff lock for the rear 2 wheel drive system and are easy and simple to maintain with replacement parts available worldwide
The seats are fibreglass with removable covers and the vehicle still includes many original fittings such as the weapon holders for the SA80 assault rifle and bullet proof seat protectors. Still in its original British Army paint scheme this has been used around our yards for various jobs daily over the last 18 months

Saurer SPz A1 FS APC
This vehicle was in service from 1966 until 2010, with a complete overhaul and upgrade by Daimler-Puch in 2004 for the Austrian army and are still in service with the Greek army.
We transported this vehicle over from Austria earlier in the year and we have spent time with the seller learning how to maintain and service. We also have all specialist tools, service and maintenance information and periscopes.
Austrian army (Reconnaissance Battalion)

All welded steel armour immune to penetration from 20mm armour-piercing projectiles. Hydraulic steering & gearbox. Neutral steering capabilities
Torsion bar type suspension consisting of 5 road wheels either side incorporating hydraulic shock absorbers front and rear.
Apart from the driver and commander it can carry 8 people in the personnel compartment.
It has only done 9000 KM and has relatively new tracks and rubber pads.
During last years War & Peace revival we had and Ex Brigadier General tank commander from the Austrian army reconnaissance battalion (who was using the Saurer when he was in service) driver training us off road for the 10 days.
We now know what they are capable of and certainly no trenches, banks or hills in the arena or off road course defeated the Saurer, no matter how steep or wet with proper driving knowledge.
No British tracked vehicles at the show (mainly 432s) could compare! With its lows profile the angles that this can be driven at are quite incredible and with its superior gearbox and engine it leaves any British APC wanting.
The Saurer winning Best Military Vehicle at the show was an honour, especially when you consider how many other vehicles we were up against.
This is the only version in the UK at the moment with Brexit finally looming it is unlikely there will be another anytime soon.
V5 applied for so driving on public roads with friends and family on for the ride will not be a problem and will be sure to put a smile on your face! But please be aware you will need a tracked licence for this. For a serious serious buyer an on and off road test would be available, but in the meantime please see the footage on this advert.
